One
of your goals is to gain a competitive edge in the business world.
Through the Career Development Center,
The Graziadio School has established a number of programs to give
you that advantage. As a graduate student, you will undergo an intense,
rigorous, academic "boot camp" to build, strengthen, and demonstrate
your leadership potential and management skills. All along the way,
the Career Center will assist as you prepare to step into the business
world. Pepperdine graduates are sought by an expansive list of domestic
and international firms. Mba Jobs.
Recognizing
the complexity of the career planning process and the variety of
options available to Graziadio School graduates, the career management
team provides a broad spectrum of services: Mba Jobs.

Industry
forums and career exploration events--Throughout the year, senior
executives and alumni from a variety of businesses participate in
scheduled informal discussions about industry and career trends.
They share practical advice and insights gained from their own experiences.
The forums are an excellent way to network and cultivate business
contacts.
Internship
support--Procuring a meaningful professional internship or participating
in a practicum can increase your ability to compete for full-time
positions upon graduation. Mba Jobs.
Multimedia
résumé referral system--An automated referral system
allows Career Center staff to conduct targeted searches for employers
seeking candidates for internships and employment. Students can
update their résumés on their own home page from any computer
in the world with Internet access, and companies can review student
résumés and portfolios at their convenience. Mba Jobs.
Consortium
and career fairs--Each year, MBA students participate in a three-day,
off-campus recruiting event sponsored by a consortium of 12 West
Coast universities. Prospective employers pre-screen a consortium
résumé book, select candidates, and schedule interviews.
Mba Jobs.
Résumé
Book--During the recruitment season, a book comprising students'
résumés categorized by graduation date is created. This
Résumé Book is distributed to more than 400 companies
nationwide. Hiring managers notify students directly or through
the Career Center regarding opportunities for full-time positions
or summer internships. Mba Jobs.
